Current balance is spendable cash
RuleCurrent balance = Credit − Debit − Saving to goals.
That number on Dashboard is what you can still spend. Money moved into goals is still yours, but it left the free pot.

Current balance = Credit − Debit − Saving to goals.
That number on Dashboard is what you can still spend. Money moved into goals is still yours, but it left the free pot.
Debit: spending. Lowers Current balance.
Credit: income. Raises the free pot (unless you allocate part to goals).
Saving: money set aside for a goal. It is not an expense. Dashboard tooltips call this Savings to goals.
The month (or week) result is Income − Expenses before goal savings. You can have a healthy month and a low Current balance if you parked a lot into Goals.
Open Add Transaction. Pick Debit or Credit, a Category, Amount, and Date (Today / Yesterday / Other Date). Optional Note helps Fast search later.
Current balance, Today's Spending, and the overview cards update after you save. Pull down to refresh. The bell opens Notifications.
Guest mode works offline-ish for trying Saveet, but it does not sync across phones. Use Sign in (or link account) when you want cloud backup.
Open My transactions. Fast search matches notes, categories, amounts, and dates while you type. Combine it with period chips instead of scrolling forever.
All, This week, This month, Last week, Last month change which rows count. The insight strip under them shows income, expenses, and Net for that filter only.
Under the periods, filter by type. Tap the same type again to clear. This is the fastest way to audit only Saving moves into goals.
On My transactions, swipe a row left or right to edit or delete. Delete asks for confirmation, then a short success toast.
To Duplicate a transaction, press and hold the transaction card until the duplicate prompt appears. A normal tap opens details; a swipe only shows edit/delete. A short tap will not duplicate.
You cannot duplicate a Saving transaction. Create a new allocation from a Credit or from a goal’s allocate flow instead.
When editing, only a Credit can be turned into Saving allocations. A Debit cannot become a goal transfer. Plan income → allocate, don’t try to “fix” a spend into a goal.
Delete a Debit: full amount returns to Current balance.
Delete a Credit: only the unallocated slice is removed from the free pot. Goal allocations tied to that income stay until you edit those Saving rows.
Open Goals, create one with a name, target amount, and optional date. Progress only moves when money is allocated, not when you wish harder.
After Add Transaction → Credit, Saveet can open Allocate this income to goals. Split across goals; total allocated cannot exceed the credit. Only the leftover raises Current balance.
From a goal, use allocate From balance (up to what is available) or Log income to allocate. You cannot allocate more than the goal still needs, or more than free balance.
Saveet blocks decreasing a goal’s saved total directly. To take money back, open My transactions, find the Saving entry, and edit or delete it. That is intentional: history stays honest.
Open Events, create dates + overall budget, then categories and spendings inside the event. Event money is tracked in that event’s wallet so a wedding or trip doesn’t silently destroy your personal month view.
Send invitations by email from the event. Guests must sign in with exactly the address that received the invite. A different email = no access, even if it’s “the same person”.
From the drawer, Public events opens shared event pages you can study or clone ideas from. Your private events stay private unless you publish/share them.
Open Financial Brain AI. Free unlock needs exactly 20 logged transactions (progress shows current / 20). After unlock, free chat is capped at 3 messages per month.
Above the composer you see remaining free AI messages for the month. The free monthly limit is 3. When the counter hits 0, free chat pauses until next month.
Clear conversation only hides the thread from history. It does not restore free AI messages. Quota is monthly usage, not “messages visible on screen”.
Good budget alerts need the system permission on. If Saveet cannot notify you, goal reminders, spending alerts, recurring posts, and monthly/weekly recaps stay silent even when preferences are on. Open Notifications Settings, tap Enable notifications, and allow Saveet. If you denied it earlier, tap Open settings and turn notifications on for Saveet in the phone settings.
Open Notifications from the Dashboard bell. Unread stays until you open items. That inbox is where alerts land after permission is on.
Still in Notifications Settings, enable the preferences you care about: monthly/weekly spending summary, daily log reminder, recurring posted, goal due soon, goal reached, goal behind schedule, and Large transaction alert (set a Threshold amount). Permission alone is not enough: turn on each alert type you want to receive.
With Large transaction alert on, a single Debit above your Threshold amount creates an in-app notification (and a short top banner after save).
Open My categories. Debit categories are for spending; Credit categories are for income. Mixing them makes reports and filters harder to read.
Add custom categories with a name, icon, and color. They show up everywhere you pick a Category chip, including Add Transaction.
Categories you picked in first setup stay available. You can still add, rename, or recolor them later from My categories.
Drawer → Zakat walks Nisab, Hawl, assets, and liabilities with your numbers. It does not deduct anything from Current balance automatically.
Each page explains a piece (Nisab, Hawl, your inputs, the result). Use it to estimate liability, then pay Zakat your own way outside Saveet.
