- Account Information: your name, email address, and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive the name and email address from that provider to create or match your account.
- Financial Content: the transactions, categories, monthly budgets, savings goals, and events you create in the app, including shared-event membership and the email invitations you send to collaborators.
- Usage Data: how you interact with the app, such as the features you open, your language, and your display preferences.
- Device Data: device model, operating system, installed app version, and the push notification token used to deliver alerts to your device.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Run and improve budgeting, savings goals, and shared-event features.
- Store your preferences, language, and budget data in your account so they sync across your devices.
- Send push notifications such as event invitations and reminders. You can turn notifications off in your device settings at any time.
3. Data Security
We protect your account with secure authentication and encrypted connections (SSL/TLS), and passwords are stored hashed. Access to stored data is restricted to what is needed to operate the service described in this policy.
4. Third-Party Services
Saveet relies on a small number of trusted providers. Google and Apple handle social sign-in when you choose it. Firebase Cloud Messaging delivers push notifications using your device token. Google Analytics and Google AdSense are used on our website pages. AI features send your question together with summarized financial context (such as totals, categories, goals, or events) to our AI provider to generate guidance; we do not send your password or authentication credentials. Each provider is expected to meet data protection standards consistent with applicable law, including GDPR.

6. Data Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the app settings, which removes your account and the financial records attached to it, apart from anything we must retain for legal or security reasons. You can also email us to request deletion.
